2022 Restricted Gift

At each Cattle Baron’s Ball, we select a mission or project of the American Cancer Society for a Restricted Gift Pledge.  Money donated to the chosen Restricted Gift goes directly to that fund.

The fight against cancer is hard enough. Transportation to cancer treatments is a key element to survival. The inability to travel to treatment not only jeopardizes a patient’s medical outcome, but it also threatens to destroy a patient’s HOPE. The Transportation Program of the American Cancer Society provides a combination of community resource referrals, trained Road to Recovery volunteer drivers, and direct financial aid for gasoline costs or commercial transportation reimbursement. The Transportation Program increases survivorship, and it significantly affects the quality of life for patients and their families.
